
Living near Charlotte, North Carolina, Seth Vitco is pursuing an associate of arts degree from Central Piedmont Community College. Seth Vitco prepared himself for academic success in home schooling and private school environments. He also served customers at Hobby Lobby in Matthews.
Vitco studied ancient cultures at Greyfriars Classical Academy from 2013 to 2015. Excelling in language studies, he won top honors in the National Latin Examination, sponsored by the National Junior Classical League.
Enrolling early at Central Piedmont, Vitco combined their curriculum with home schooling and achieved impressive results, obtaining his high school diploma with a 3.68 grade point average. On the advanced placement tests, he attained very well qualified status in environmental studies and English language and composition.
Vitco has previously participated in the regional finals for the North Carolina Science Olympiad. He also took first place in the Rube Goldberg Competition, which is a machine-building contest that requires devices complete simple tasks using complex steps, as was the style of cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg. In addition, Vitco won accolades for drama readings in Latin and building large models.
Seth Vitco’s outside interests range from weightlifting and reading to piano and gliding. He also built his own home computer.
